New town view

Our first six months in Petaluma were spent in a 2-bedroom townhouse on the river. I picked it online from Chicago because it was in the school district I thought was best (Kindergarten at McNear exceeded my very high expectations). the townhouse was chintzy and small, but offered an incredible location where Petaluma could show all her glorious offerings: the stroll into town in 2 minutes, the Farmer’s Market in Walnut Park, ice cream at several different options within walking distance… and the river. From watching the ebb and birds up close to the surprises of Santa arriving on a lighted up boat at the end of a parade one random night, the location could not be beat. Moments like this made Petaluma pretty attractive from the get-go.
