Continuum Medical Staffing

Working with Continuum has been an amazing lesson in kismet — what is meant to be. I knew the new owner, John Johnson, in the mid-1990s when I worked for him as a young temp at Lakeshore Staffing in Chicago. I got the gig through my father (love me some nepotism) but built my own working relationship with John through a string of successful assignments.

I enjoyed working for the executive director (architect Anne Laird-Blanton) of the non-profit California Architectural Foundation for 18 months. Throughout my tenure with them, I juggled a variety of duties: from spreadsheets and letter-writing, to Power Point presentations, and updating the newly launched website.
