Cinnabar Theater

Here’s a secret: when I first started courting work in Petaluma, I would drive by the banners and posters for Cinnabar Theater on the north end of town and wonder to myself how I could get that gig. They were (and are) simple, clean advertising for theater, utilizing my two favorite things: strong images and expressive typography.

School Fundraiser

The school fundraiser for 2015 had such a fun theme, I couldn’t help but volunteer to put together the marketing materials. In years past I had helped throw together the slideshows and programs, but this time chairperson Amy Malaise really gave me free rein to design everything. I even spent hours on the PowerPoint slideshows for the live auction, and that’s saying something (Office suite programs are a necessary evil, and I do mean evil).

I enjoyed working for the executive director (architect Anne Laird-Blanton) of the non-profit California Architectural Foundation for 18 months. Throughout my tenure with them, I juggled a variety of duties: from spreadsheets and letter-writing, to Power Point presentations, and updating the newly launched website.
