Napa Valley Guidebook

For under three months at the end of 2013, I first had the pleasure of helping layout the Napa Valley Guidebook, an annual magazine used by people all over the world as a reference when visiting us out here in wine country. I took over the gig from a long-tenured freelancer, and needed to learn the layout and content quickly in order to be of use under the tight year-end deadline.

Balzac Communications

I first connected with Robin Lewis at Balzac for his recurring Napa Valley Visitors Guidebook gig in 2013. In between those productions, Robin has brought me dozens of projects from photo editing and WordPress work to newsletters and magazine ads.

School Fundraiser

The school fundraiser for 2015 had such a fun theme, I couldn’t help but volunteer to put together the marketing materials. In years past I had helped throw together the slideshows and programs, but this time chairperson Amy Malaise really gave me free rein to design everything. I even spent hours on the PowerPoint slideshows for the live auction, and that’s saying something (Office suite programs are a necessary evil, and I do mean evil).
